La búsqueda de la aeronave, un Learjet 25 con matrícula de Estados Unidos, empezó durante la madrugada. Helicópteros de Protección Civil sobrevolaban el estado en busca de la avioneta. La fiscalía federal colabora en la búsqueda.
Alejandro Argudín, de Aeronáutica Civil, insistió en que hasta el momento el estado de la avioneta es "desaparecida", no accidentada.

Y por la noche el representante volvió a twittear: "La gran sorpresa de la noche disco de oro y platino por Joyas Prestadas y oro por Misma Gran Señora. (at)jennirivera feliz". El maquillista Jabob Llenares también subió a su cuenta de Twitter fotos del concierto y la entrega de los discos en la Arena Monterrey.
